PURPOSE:To enable fastening of a body to be conducted by means of given torque, by a method wherein a guide member, protruded in the direction of an assembly part, is mounted on the opening and closing body of a fastening device, and an anti-rotation member, inserted in the hole part of an assembly part, is mounted on the guide member through the force of a spring. CONSTITUTION:After a pulley 4, being a body to be assembled, is engaged with a crank shaft 6a, a positioning insertion device 21 is moved backward, and a fastening device 31 is positioned facing the pulley 4 by means of a switching cylinder unit 26. The fastening device 31 is moved forward in the direction of the pulley 4, and an anti-rotation member 310 is inserted in a lightening hole 40 of the pulley 4. In which case, when the tip of the anti- rotation member 310 does not enter the hole 40 but is brought into contact with a part of the pulley 4, it is moved backward against the spring of a guide member 309 mounted on the opening and closing body of a nut runner body 301. Thereby, through detection of the backward movement by means of an approach switch, the pulley 4 is slightly rotated for insertion. Thereafter, the pulley is fastened by means of a socket 302 of the nut runner 301. This constitution enables the body to be assembled by means of given torque.
