<p>PURPOSE:To permit easy adjustment of color balance and brightness by providing polarizing plates which rotate around the optical axes or the axial centers parallel with the optical axes in proximity liquid crystal display plates. CONSTITUTION:Color light rays separated to 3 colors; red light (optical path L1), green light (optical path L2) and blue light (optical path L3) are respectively reflected by mirrors 30, 27, 29 and are successively transmitted through 2nd lenses 31, 37, 43, the polarizing plates 32, 38, 44 polarizers 35, 41, 47 of the liquid crystal display plates 33, 39, 45, liquid crystals 34, 40, 43, and analyzers 36, 42, 48, by which the polarized red light, green light and blue light are obtd. The control of the quantity of the light is executed by rotation of the polarizing plates 32, 38, 44 at this time. The adjustment of the color balance and brightness is thereby permitted.</p> |
