<p>PURPOSE:To decrease in designation mistake of a symbol by a touch screen by calculating a distance of coordinates of symbols stored in a storage device and a coordinate from a signal processor and selecting the symbol with the shortest distance. CONSTITUTION:An electric signal from the touch screen 21 provided on the screen 3 is converted into a coordinate by a signal processor 22 to indicate an object by a character and a graphic displayed on the screen 3. On the other hand, a storage device 2 stores coordinates of all displayed symbols. A distance between a coordinate from the signal processor 22 and a coordinate stored in the storage device 2 is calculated by a decider 23 to select the symbol with the shortest distance. Thus, the symbol error by the touch screen 21 is reduced and since the area designation of the symbol is enough for one point, the data quantity to be stored is less.</p> |
