PURPOSE:To provide an improvement in productivity, economization of energy, etc. in the stage of rolling plural sheets of hoops in parallel by matching the top ends of the respective hoops in the transverse direction then starting the passage of the hoops. CONSTITUTION:Coils are usually carried on coil cars 13, 14 and are mounted on a reel 9. One of the coil cars in this case is made into the system of supporting the coil by means of rollers 15, 16. One of the rolls is further rotated by a motor 17 to rotate the entire part of the coil. The motor 17 is run by such device so that the top end of the previously placed coil 1 matches with the top end of the coil 2 placed afterward and the two coils in the state of having the matched top ends are mounted on the reel 9. The top ends of the two coils are matched and the timings for biting are synchronized by the above-mentioned operation. |
