PURPOSE:To prevent a fact that a spot appears on an image and the image is disordered, by providing a magnetic grain collecting means to a two component developing, on other cartridge than the two-component developing device. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic grain collecting device 11 in a main cartridge 1 is provided on the downstream side in the rotational direction of a photosensitive drum 10 from a two-component developing device 23 in a sub-cartridge 2, and in case development has been executed by the two-component developing device 23, magnetic grains in a developer adhering to the photosensitive drum 10 are collected by this collecting device 11. In such a way, since the magnetic grains adhering to the photosensitive drum (image carrying body) 10 are collected, it is prevented a spot appears on an image by the magnetic grains adhering to the image carrying body, and also, even in case a one-component developing device is used as the second developing device 14, it does not occur that the first toner visible image is disordered and a color mixture caused.
