PURPOSE:To attain efficient Point of Sales (POS) system be providing an IC card reader/writer to an externally provided post equipment. CONSTITUTION:An IC card and an IC card reader/writer 25a are provided in place of a magnetic card and a magnetic card input section and customer information is moved separately from a center file of a magnetic disk or the like added to a POS terminal equipment 10a into a customer IC card. Thus, the time required for the search of customer information and the transmission to be externally provided post equipment 20a from the POS terminal equipment 10a is reduced and the lubricating operation by the operator is applied without waste after confirming the customer information. Thus, more efficient POS system is attained. |
