发明名称 BACK COMPONENT FORCE CORRECTING METHOD FOR ULTRASONIC OSCILLATION CUTTING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate the abnormal oscillation of a cutting tool and improve the finished face of cutting by controlling the vertical position of said cutting tool so that a back component force detecting signal becomes zero at the time of correcting said cutting tool toward the cutting direction. CONSTITUTION:A cutting tool 43 is installed on the output end part of a deflecting oscillator 20 and supported via a cutting feeding mechanism 45 and a vertically feeding mechanism 46. At the time of a cutting condition in which the end of the cutting tool 43 which oscillates at a right angle to the axis of the deflecting oscillator 20 is in contact with a workpiece 42 in the same direction as its tangential direction Pc, the center point 47 of the workpiece 42 is on the axis. And, at the end of the cutting tool 43, the resultant force of a back component force Pt and a tangential direction component force Pc becomes a cutting resistance causing the abnormal oscillation of the cutting tool. Then, by lowering the deflecting oscillator 20 downward by y by means of the feeding mechanism 46 while feeding it by X by means of the feeding mechanism 45, the direction of the resultant force P agrees with the oscillating direction of the cutting tool 43. Accordingly, the back component force Pt is not applied to the cutting edge of the cutting tool 43 eliminating abnormal oscillation and obtaining a good finished surface.
