A holder comprises a hollow moulded plastics body 1 having a tubular front part 2 adapted to surround the steering column A of a vehicle and having a radial aperture 3 for receiving a movable dead bolt C adapted to co-operate with an annular locking means rotating integrally with the vehicle steering column. An annular metal frame 4 is attached to the tubular part 2 of the holder and has recesses 11 for engagement with projections 10 on the tubular part 2 and has an aperture 5 for the bolt C. <IMAGE>
