PURPOSE:To reduce the through-current by constituting a pre-driver circuit by an MIS transistor (TR) and a resistor having a larger resistance than the ON-resistance of both the TRs, and driving separately each gate of P-channel and N-channel TRs of the driver circuit. CONSTITUTION:The pre-driver circuit consists of the P-channel TR P1, the N-channel TR N1 and a resistor R1 having a larger resistance of the ON- resistance of both the TRs P1, N1. The source/drain of the TR P1 is connected to one terminal of a power supply VDD and the resistor R1 respectively and the source/drain of the TR N1 are connected respectively to ground and the other terminal of the resistor R1. A gate of the TR P2 of an output driver circuit is driven from a connecting point A between the drain of the TR P1 and the one terminal of the resistor R1, and the gate of the TR N2 of the output driver circuit is driven from a connecting point B between the drain of the TR N1 and the other terminal of the resistor R1. Thus, the TRs P2, N2 are not simultaneously turned on and the through-current is made nearly zero. |
