PURPOSE:To facilitate the handling such as the movement or stop of particulates in a fluid, by constituting the title operating apparatus of an operation tank for operating particulates in the fluid and a drive means for forming a multiphase traveling wave fluid in the operation tank. CONSTITUTION:After a fluid and particulates are allowed to flow into an operation tank 1 from an inlet 7a to fill said tank 1, AC voltage is outputted to each of vibration means 3 from an AC power source apparatus 8. At this time, in order to move the particulates in the operation tank 1 from the left to the right, alternating currents shifted by (1/3)Xpi, (2/3)Xpi, (pi), (4/3)Xpi and (5/3)Xpi in phase from the left vibrator 46 are successively applied. Therefore, the AC wave form outputted from the AC power source apparatus 8 is a multiphase AC wave form. When voltage is applied to a vibrator 21, the displacement generated in the vibrator 21 according to the change in said voltage develops a function of sending out the fluid. |
