PURPOSE:To rapidly grasp contents without being troubled by many communications by arranging and classifying a notice sentence sent from a transmitting person, by an item and contents, then summarizing the contents of communications, and presenting them to a user. CONSTITUTION:When a notice document is accumulated in a document buffer 3, a document analyzing part 10 is operated. At the document analyzing part 10, the processing of the notice sentence is proceeded in the order of the form analyzing, classifying and summarizing. A form analyzing part 11 extracts a main sentence F, extracts a title E and extracts an address name A. Continuously, a document number B, a transmitting date C and a transmitting person name D are extracted. Next, a classifying part 12 classifies the document in accordance with the request contents of the transmitting person. The weight in proportion to the frequency of a word to appear in the communication sentence is added to the word classified by classification categories. By obtaining the sum of the weight of the word to appear in the communication sentence and selecting the maximum category, the communication sentence is classified.
