PURPOSE:To prevent toner in a hopper from falling at the time of the movement of the toner hopper by using an upper side opening part even as an intake for supply toner and a developer and a lower opening part as an outlet for the developer, and arranging a toner supply roller at the lowermost part of the toner hopper. CONSTITUTION:The toner supply roller 19 is rotated to make the toner in toner hoppers 16, 17, and 18 fall on a paddle 6 for agitation through the upper side opening part 13a, and this paddle 6 for agitation agitates and conveys toner to supply the toner into development parts 9, 10, and 11 of a developing device 1. Namely, developers in the development parts 9, 10, and 11 are conveyed left by an external screw 5 to enter the developer intake 5a, conveyed right by an internal screw 4, and discharged into the development parts 9, 10, and 11 from the developer outlet 5b. Supply toner is also entered similarly from the developer intake 5a, agitated by the internal screw 4 sufficiently together with a developer, and discharged into the development parts 9, 10, and 11 from the outlet 5b.
