PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain metal fiber in plural dimensions by a single cutting blade by forming a metal block by superposing a metal plate via an adhesive and cutting this metal block in the direction intersecting at right angles with the plane of the metal plate by a straight edge cutter. CONSTITUTION:Stainless steel plates are superposed and fixed by an adhesive with a vacuum impregnating method by an epoxy resin and made a metal block 4 by drying it with heating. The metal block 4 is set to a milling machine by reinforcing both outer sides with a bakelite plate 6 by arranging it in the plane direction of a stainless steel plate 2. A straight edge cutter 8 is moved in the direction A intersecting at right angles with the plane of the stainless steel plate 2 to cut the metal block 4.
