PURPOSE:To eliminate step differences in a visual form and to improve the strength of lead terminals by a method wherein the lead terminals are each connected to an electrode lead-out part provided on each one end part of insulating substrate and the lead terminals are arranged almost over the total length of the substrate. CONSTITUTION:Such a magnetic detecting thin film (not shown in the diagram) as a magnetoresistance thin film is formed on each insulating substrate 1 and with an electrode 2 for making a current flow through these thin films formed, electrode lead-out parts 2a are each provided on each one end part of the substrates 1. A lead terminal 10 is connected to the lead-out part 2a by a solder 4 and the whole is covered with a sheathing resin 5. The lead terminal 10 is arranged in such a way that its point part reaches the lead-out part 2a from the end part on the side opposite to a side, on which the lead-out part 2a is provided. According to such a way, step differences are eliminated in the visual form and the strength of the lead terminals is improved.
