CONSTITUTION:The month end correction inhibiting circuit 201 inhibits the operation of a month end correcting circuit 91 at the time of exchanging batteries and is so arranged as to restart the operation of the month end correcting circuit 91 by a signal for setting an automatic calendar. The month end correction inhibiting circuit 201 is released by judging that the setting of the automatic calendar is executed when the signal for setting the automatic calendar outputted by the operation of a push button switch SPB in a second display mode, i.e., initial pulse P5S resets an RS-FF 202 and resets an AND gate 203 at on.
