PURPOSE:To preclude deterioration in picture quality by providing a support member which supports a photosensitive member in an exposure area and reflects almost no light by its surface. CONSTITUTION:A light source 1 and a fiber lens array 2 are fitted to a carriage 4 which moves on a guide member 3 in parallel, and an image of an original 6 on an original platen 5 is formed on a photosensitive body 7 contacting the support member 8 through the fiber lens array 2 with light emitted by the light source 1; while the carriage 4 moves, the entire surface of the photosensitive body is exposed and a transfer member (not shown in figure) is superposed and processed to form the same image with the original on the transfer member. The support member 8 is a rectangular Al plate which is a little bit larger than the entire exposed part and does not bend, and its surface is frosted in black, but another metallic material is usable.
