PURPOSE:To give warning when a month end is inadvertently set at a non-existence date so that resetting can be made by constituting a month end correcting means in such a manner as to drive a data display means according to the information of a non-existence date detecting circuit to make a warning operation. CONSTITUTION:A specific date discriminating circuit 90 operates as the non-existence date detecting circuit. Said circuit detects either the non-existence date or other date by the year information signal Dy and month information signal Dm set in year and month setting operation if the date set in a date setting operation is a 29th, 30th or 31st day. The circuit supplies a date dial correction signal Dhd as a non-existence date correction signal from a terminal group M to a month end correcting circuit 91 in the case of the non-existence date. A pulse motor 207 is then driven by a fast feed signal PC2 for the hour and minute hands outputted from the month end correcting circuit 91 to feed the display of the date dial 7 quickly to the next one day, by which the setting of the non-existence date is warned. A wearer is capable of resetting the correct date by this warning operation.
