PURPOSE:To simply and inexpensively constitute a hydraulic control device, by constituting the device so as to move a spool valve rod by a single solenoid actuator. CONSTITUTION:A speed change control valve 46, which is a proportional control solenoid valve, is equipped with a cylinder body 66 forming a cylinder bore 64, one spool valve rod 68 slidably fitted in one axial direction in said cylinder bore 64, compression coil spring 70 provided in one end part of said spool valve rod 68 and a solenoid actuator 72 provided in the other end part of the spool valve rod 68. The compression coil spring 70 urges the spool valve rod 68 to a side of the other end part, on the contrary the solenoid actuator 72, which protrudes an output rod 76 by supplying a control current to a solenoid 74, moves the spool valve rod 68 to the right direction against the urging force of the compression coil spring 70.
