<p>A spike device (A) for vehicles comprises a main casing (4) with a rim which is attached together with a wheel (3) integrally to a wheel hub (1). The main casing (4) has a pressure tube (19) attached to the rim and a plurality of spikes (15) radially provided outside the peripheral surface of the pressure tube (19). These spikes (15) project a little outward beyond the tire tread surface (2a) of the wheel (3) when a compressed air is supplied to the pressure tube (19) and retract inward beyond the tire tread surface (2a) of the wheel (3) when the compressed air in the pressure tube is exhausted.</p> |
