<p>A transparent soap bar produced from: (a) a water soluble organic solvent, up to about 10%; (b) a sugar, up to about 10%; (c) an alkyl-aryl polyoxyalkylene carboxylic acid of the formula (I) wherein R is an aryl, alkyl-aryl or alkyl radical, R1 through R6 are each hydrogen or a lower alkyl radical and may be the same or different, m is 1 to 3 and n is 1 to 9, about 1% to 10%; (d) a benzoic acid ester of a primary alcohol or alkoxylate of a primary alcohol, said alcohol of C9 to C18 carbon chain length, up to about 5%; (e) a water soluble synthetic organic detergent, up to about 15%; (f) a neat soap, up to about 60%; (g) a fatty acid, about 1% to about 25%; (h) a saponifying, neutralizing or complexing agent for the fatty acid, about 3% to about 35%; (i) EDTA up to about 2%; and (j) water up to about 25%.</p> |
