PURPOSE:To generate the color changes corresponding to radiation projection doses and to facilitate measurement by incorporating an activator which generates free groups by radiation projection and electron donative org. compd. which snows visible color changes by the effect of such free groups. CONSTITUTION:A radiation detecting compsn. is obtd. by incorporating the activator which generates the free groups by the radiation projection and the electron donative org. compd. which shows the visible color changes by the effect of the free groups therein. The activator to be used for such compsn. is preferably a compd. contg. a halogen element and the representative specific examples thereof include, for example, the compd. expressed by the general formula R-C-X3 (where R denotes allyl, alkyl, aralkyl, aroyl, alkenyl group, halogen, hydrogen and X denotes halogen). Such radiation detecting compsn. is dissolved together with a suitable high-polymer binder having film formability in a solvent and the soln. is coated on a base, by which the sheet for measuring radiation dose is formed.
