PURPOSE:To avoid cuffing fibrous material, and to increase the tensile strength or the like of the title tubular body remarkably and improve the reliability of the same, by a method wherein a metallic mounting member is fitted to the outer periphery of the tubular member, and a reinforcing member is fitted to the inner periphery of the end of the tubular body, while the end face of a hollow section is pushed axially to press the inner peripheral wall of the mounting member to the outer periphery of the end and pinch the end of the tubular member between the mounting member and the reinforcing member. CONSTITUTION:Resin, with which into a fibrous material 22, is cured by heat, and a mold member is extracted to form a tubular member 21. A step 21B is formed on the inner periphery of an end part 21A, and a reinforcing member 23 is fitted thereto. The end part 21A is inserted into the engaging hole 24A of a mounting member 24, and a punch 27 is penetrated on the outer periphery of the tubular member 21. The punch is pushed by a hydraulic press or the like against the mounting member 24 to punch a pressurized recess 25 while a pushing part 26 is formed in the engaging hole 24A whereby the end part 21A is pinched between the mounting member 24 and the reinforcing member 23 to connect and secure to each other. The pushing part 26 is formed so as to have a depression inwardly in the direction of radius, therefore, the fibrous material 22 will never be cut off and the strength of the same may be utilized to integrate both members. |
