<p>A recordable disc previously provided with absolute addresses, such as a recordable and reproducible compact disc, has data such as performance information recorded in a programme area (6) thereof and archival (TOC) information indicative of the recorded contents of the programme area recorded in a lead-in area (7) thereof, whereby the programme area can be reproduced on the basis of the archival information recorded in the lead-in area. In recording and/or reproducing apparatus for such a disc, the archival information is reproduced from the lead-in area and stored in a memory (19), the sequence of the stored archival information is changed (44), and the information of changed sequence is re-recorded in the lead-in area (7).</p> |
