PURPOSE:To maintain an excellent image quality by holding a photosensitive body in a development ready state and a developing sleeve at a proper interval at all times. CONSTITUTION:The driving gear and driven gears 71 and 72 of a driving mechanism are prevented from disengaging when development parts 12 and 13 are switched to a development-ready state and a development-unready state, so the tops of the gears do not collide against each other and there is no defect in the driving of a developing sleeve. Further, the interval between a photosensitive body 8 in the development-ready state and the developing sleeve is held accurately at a prescribed value by a stopper as a position control member and positioning rolls 45 and 47, so its excellent image quality can be secured regardless of a system where the development parts 12 and 13 move. |
