PURPOSE:To stably output a strong torque by fringing the outer periphery of one rotor having a shaft at a position different from the center of an ultrasonic rotary vibrator into contact with the periphery of the vibrator under pressure. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric ceramic disk is so polarized by half circle in reverse polarity in its thicknesswise direction in a rotary roller type ultrasonic motor that one side surface is formed wholly with an electrode and the other is formed in quadrant sector electrodes of positive and negative areas, thereby constructing an ultrasonic rotary vibrator 1. An insulating bus 6 is set on the vibrator 1, a terminal board 8, insulating washers 9, etc. are engaged with the vibrator 1, a bolt 11 is penetrated, clamped with a nut 10 to construct a stator. Further, a bolt 13 is penetrated through a roller 12 integrated with a pulley 14, and the roller 12 is strongly pressbonded to the stator. Thus, a sine wave is applied to the terminal board to rotate the roller 12 and to output a strong rotary torque through a belt set to the pulley 14. |
