PURPOSE:To superpose a DC with an AC with a simple configuration by providing a parallel circuit of diode and a resistor in an AC power source. CONSTITUTION:A power source circuit is composed by inserting in series a parallel circuit of a diode D and a resistor R between an AC power supply AC and a sample capacitor C. The resistor R consumes charge stored in the capacitor C thereby to apply its AC component to the sample, and the ratio of the DC component to the AC component can be varied by altering the resistance value. Thus, the superposed waveform of the DC and the AC can be obtained with the simple circuit configuration.
