PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption in the stand-by state by controlling the power supply to a speed control means by an image formation start command. CONSTITUTION:When a copying start signal is inputted from a terminal 8, a switch circuit 1 is turned on to supply a voltage VCC1 to a stabilized power supply circuit 2, and an output voltage VCC2 is obtained and used as the voltage source of a motor speed control circuit 3. The motor speed control circuit 3 is provided with a circuit which controls the motor speed to keep is constant, and a signal which turns on/off a DC motor 4 is sent to a switch circuit 5, and the DC motor 4 is operated by this signal. Thus, the power consumption in the stand-by state is reduced. |
