PURPOSE:To make it possible to make the mist dispersed without its staying near the outside of a main body by atomizing the drain-age that is produced during room cooling operation and the water that is produced on melting in defrosting cycle during room heating operation and accelerating those atomized liquids by the discharged air. CONSTITUTION:During room cooling the dew which has condensed on the surface of a fin of a heat exchanger 12 on the side of the inside of room is recovered in a water receiving pan 15. And, when during room heating a heat exchanger 13 on the side of the outside of room starts the defrosting operation due to the frosting on it, the frost is melted and the resulting-water is stored in the water receiving pan 15. Then, water temperature sensing means 24 to detect the water temperature in the water receiving pan 15 is provided, and if the water temperature there is lower than 0 deg.C, the relay contact point 28 in a controller 25 is closed and a heating device 19 is energized to prevent freezing. On the other hand when the water level in the water receiving pan 15 is raised gradually, the contact point of a sensor 21 is closed and a controller 26 is energized to operate an atomizer 18, and the mist A is sprayed. Here a baffle board 27 is provided on the side face of the vibration amplifying tower of the atomizer to give stable spray. Furthermore, the mist A is dispersed farther by the air discharged from a discharge port 17 on the outside of room. |
