PURPOSE:To manufacture an amorphous solar cell abounding in fashion properties and decorative properties by forming a metallic thin-film pattern-shaped to arbitrary character, symbol, figure, etc., between a light-transmitting insulating substrate and an amorphous semiconductor layer (an a-Si layer). CONSTITUTION:A photosensor consisting of the laminate of a first electrode layer 7, an a-Si layer 9 and a second electrode layer 10 is connected electrically in series with an adjacent photosensor by the bonding of an extension section 11 from the second electrode layer 10 and an extension section 12 from the adjacent first electrode layer 7. When beams are projected to an amorphous solar cell, incident light energy is converted into electric energy in the a-Si layer 9. It is extracted to the outside from output terminals 13, 14. When the a-Si solar cell is viewed from the light-receiving surface side, a character pattern by the blank color of a metallic thin-film 8 pattern-shaped to arbitrary character, symbol, figure, etc., is drawn on the brown foundation of the a-Si layer 9 because a light-transmitting insulating substrate 6 and the first electrode layer 7 have light-transmitting properties. |
