PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption and to decrease the operating noise of a stepping motor by setting a power source voltage to a value sufficient to start the motor at the time of starting, and then reducing it to a value sufficient to hold the rotation of the motor. CONSTITUTION:A one-shot circuit 2 sets the base potential of a transistor 3 to a high level by a step signal 1 from a controller. Thus, a transistor 7 is conducted, a high voltage is applied to a stepping motor 14, and declined. A one-shot circuit 8 conducts a transistor 9 during a certain time by a step signal 1. Thus, the transistor 11 is conducted to apply a voltage necessary to continue the motor 14 once moved to the motor 14. |
