PURPOSE:To prevent the accumulation of deterioration of the characteristic caused in quantizing the code book reference by copying a tap data of a proximity predicting value and a pitch predicting value obtained by a prediction filter in a local decoder onto a tap of a prediction filter of a coder. CONSTITUTION:The coding transmitter has the function that, what kind of signal is reproduced by a decoder is recognized by a coder in a coding transmitter depending on the function of a local decoder 2, and a tap data of a prediction recovery filter 3 in the local decoder 2 is coped onto a tap of a prediction filter 4 of a coder 10 at each switching of a code book collation pattern. Thus, in the processing of the next frame data, the internal state of the filter 4 is matched to type final state of the preceding frame of the decoder. Thus, the accumulation of deterioration of characteristic caused by data noncoincidence of the coder and the decoder caused by the simple CEP system is prevented.
