PURPOSE:To perform the scan of a laser beam of light for recording or reproduction at high speed and easily, by scanning the laser beam of light by the revolution of a rotary polygonal mirror on an optical card arranged in a curved state. CONSTITUTION:The optical card 7 is arranged oppositely in a state curved recessedly centering a rotary polygonal mirror 2 side. Thereby, at the time of performing main scan on the optical card 7 by reflecting the laser beam of light on the reflecting plane 2a of the polygonal mirror 2, since a condensing spot position is always moved along an inner peripheral curved plane 7a that is the recording plane of the optical card 7, a recording or reproducing operation by superior fine condensing spot scan without blooming, etc., can be obtained. Thus, it is possible to perform the scan of the laser beam of light for the recording or reproduction for the optical card at high speed and easily.
