<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a delay time by starting packet forming at a period being a fraction of integer of prescribed period and adding an address for identification to each CDT data during the period so as to apply packet multiplexing. CONSTITUTION:In a packet multiplexer, as to CDT data CDT1-CDTn received by a reception section 10, packet multiplexing is applied at a period corresponding to the reception time, e.g., 4-word being a period of 1/m of a time required for the reception of the data of the maximum word. In this case, the data by 4-word is stored a 1/m period data storage device 21 for each CDT line. The data is subjected to packet forming by a packet multiplex device 23 according to the packet forming start command outputted from the 1/m period packet start command device 22 and transferred to s packet network data transmission section 30. The 1/m period data packet combining device 23a and the CDT data identification address provision device 23b in the device 23 give a CDT line address or the like to the data read from the device 21 and compose the packet.</p> |
