PURPOSE:To obtain the titled novel copolyamide soluble in aprotic amide solvents, having high glass transition point, a high starting point of thermal decomposition and excellent heat resistance, by copolymerizing a piperazine and a diaminodiphenyl compound with an aromatic dicarboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:A diaminodiphenyl compound shown by formula I (Y is bifunctional organic group; R<1> and R<2> are 1-12C hydrocarbon; R<3> and R<4> are monofunctional organic group; n1 and n2 are 0 or 1-3 natural integer) is reacted with a piperazine shown by formula II (R<5>-R<12> are H or 1-12C hydrocarbon) and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid dihalide shown by formula III (R is 2-15C bifunctional aromatic group; X is chlorine, bromine, etc.) in a solvent to give the aimed copolyamide having main repeating units shown by formula IV and formula V in the molar ratio of the repeating units of 95/5-35/65. |
