PURPOSE:To obtain a safe protein, having a specific amino acid sequence and IgG aggregation activity, produced in large amounts and useful in the immunochemical field, etc. CONSTITUTION:A DNA capable of coding a protein having amino acid sequences expressed by formula I, II or III is integrated into a plasmid to provide a plasmid which is a recombinant DNA. The resultant plasmid is then introduced into Escherichia coli K-12c600 to afford a transformant strain, which is subsequently inoculated into a culture medium containing a carbon source, such as glucose, nitrogen source, such as NH4Cl, and nutrient sources, such as vitamin B1, and cultivated at pH5.5-8.5 and 18-40 deg.C for 5-90hr by spinner culture with aeration. The resultant culture is subjected to collection of microbial cells, which are treated with a lysozyme, then crushed by freezing or melting and subsequently centrifuged to provide a supernatant. The obtained supernatant is extracted to collect the aimed protein. |
