PURPOSE:To improve reliability, and to lengthen a lifetime by using an elastic connector consisting of a leaf spring, which is placed onto a radiator plate and only one end of which is fixed, for connecting two low-temperature side terminals for a U-shaped thermoelectric generating element and an outer lead. CONSTITUTION:Elastic connectors 5, 6 are composed of a stainless sheet called SUS430, and flexibly support low-temperature side terminals 1a, 1b. The elastic connectors are constituted of U-shaped terminal support sections 5a, a each fastening and supporting the low-temperature side terminals 1a, 1b from three sides, main bodies 5b, 6b being placed vertically onto a radiator plate and having curved sections, and connecting sections 5c, 6c for fixing the elastic connectors onto the radiator plate 4 while attaining connection with outer leads 2, 3. The elastic connectors are supported and fastened onto the radiator plate 4 through machine screws (b) inserted into two tapped holes (h) shaped to the connecting sections 5c, 6c respectively. The radiator plate 4 is manufactured by partially forming an electric insulating film onto a metallic plate, and tapped holes are shaped where corresponding to the tapped holes (h). |
