PURPOSE:To eliminate lag of the leading of electrification potential after repeated uses by forming an eutectic complex layer composed essentially of a pyrylium type dye, an electrically insulating polymer and a specified compound between a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by forming on the conductive substrate 11 the photosensitive layer 15 and forming between the substrate 11 and the layer 15 and the eutectic complex layer 13 is composed essentially of the eutectic complex consisting of the pyrylium type dye and the insulating polymer, and the conductive compound represented by formula in which R1 is H or halogen; and R2 is an aromatic or heterocyclic residue optionally substituted by halogen, cyano, dialkylamino, optionally substituted diaralkylamino, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, or nitro, thus permitting the lag of the leading of electrification potential after repeated uses to be eliminated. |
