发明名称 HIGH PERMEABILITY ALLOY
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a high permeability alloy excellent in wear resistance without deteriorating magnetic properties, by blending an Fe-Al-Si magnetic alloy and an Fe-Ni magnetic alloy in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The high-permeability alloy has a composition consisting of, by weight, <=50%, preferably about 2.5-25%, of Fe-Al-Si magnetic alloy and the balance Fe-Ni magnetic alloy. This alloy has superior wear resistance and is suitably used as magnetic head material. As the above Fe-Al-Si magnetic alloy, e.g., the one principally composed of about 4-12% Si, about 3-8% Al, and the balance Fe and further containing, if necessary, Ni, C, Ti, Zr, Ta, Nb, Mo, W, Ru, etc., is used. On the other hand, as the Fe-Ni magnetic alloy, e.g., the one composed principally of about 35-90% Ni and about 5-55% Fe and containing, if necessary, Mo, Cu, Cr, Mn, etc., is used. The above- mentioned high permeability alloy can be obtained by mixing both magnetic- alloy powders mentioned above in an inert atmosphere, etc., and by subjecting the resulting powder mixture to compacting and sintering.
