摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the automatic reading and recording of three-dimensional coordinates by a method wherein a CCD pickup element is used for a pair of microscopes to constitute a TV camera and an output signal thereof is processed digitally to automate positional transfer of a feeler. CONSTITUTION:A pair of microscopic optical systems 5 and 6 are fitted to a supporting shaft 3 with an inclination of 45 deg. therefrom and are provided with CCD camera heads 7 and 8 respectively. An optical image formed by a reflected light flux from a substance to be detected is picked up by the cameras 7 and 8, output signals thereof are led to an image processing device 15, and a double image obtained as the result of processing is displayed in a TV monitor 16. When the microscopes 5 and 6 are moved vertically by the movement of the supporting shaft 3 and the intersecting point of their optical axes coincides with a measuring point, the double image thereof turns to be in focus, and therefore Z-axis coordinates can be measured. A change in digital coordinates signals with the movement of a frame 2 and the supporting shaft 3 is stopped by a foot switch 18 when a point of cross-shaped intersection and the measuring point of the substance to be detected coincide with each other on the image plane of the monitor 16, and the signals are displayed in a coordinates display unit 17 while they are recorded in a plotter 20.
