PURPOSE:To obtain a ham and cheese roll without protruding the cheese to collapse the shape thereof, by rolling various materials in cheese, ham and toasted laver, applying a coating to the surface of the toasted laver on the outermost side, and frying the resultant roll in oil. CONSTITUTION:A ham and cheese roll obtained by placing one sheet each of toasted laver 1, ham 2 and cheese 3 on top of each other, placing desired ingredients such as rolled fish 4 or kidney bean 5 thereon, rolling the ingredients to expose the toasted laver 1 on the outermost side, applying a pasty material prepared by stirring wheat flour, cow's milk, hen's egg and powder to the sur face of the toasted layer 1 on the outermost side, smearing the surface with bread crumb to form a coating 6 and frying the resultant roll in oil. |
