<p>PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a sorting work, the number of sorting shelves at each commodity containing part is collated with the identification code of the containing part, preset by a number display device in relation to each containing part, by means of a signal from a control system to individually display the number. CONSTITUTION:Commodity data is previously transmitted to a hard disc device 52. A worker at each work station reads the commodity code of a commodity, conveyed on a conveyor, by using a card reader to send it to a control device. In this case, the commodity code is first recognized by a total number display device 3, and after the commodity code is converted into a given signal code, the signal code is outputted to a main control device 51. The main control device 51 retrieves data on assorting destination and the number from the hard disc device 52, and the data is transmitted to the total number display device 3, outputting an initial signal code, through a communication wire 54. Based on the data, a corresponding number display device 55 displays on an LED 15. This constitution improves working efficiency.</p> |
