PURPOSE:To control attitude in an always optimum state irrespective of the weight of passengers and loading articles, by a method wherein a control time is set according to the magnitude of a change in attitude of a car body, and a control time is corrected according to the inner pressures of each fluid spring chamber and an accumulator. CONSTITUTION:A controller 24 detects attitude of a car body based on detecting signals from various sensors 30-34, and sets a control time according to the magnitude of a change in attitude. Only during the set control time, intake valves 19a-19d and exhaust valves 20a-20d are connected and disconnected to and from front right, front left, rear right, and rear left main air spring chambers 11a-11d, respectively. In this case, sensors 26a-26d and 23b, detecting an inner pressure, are mounted to the main air spring chambers 11a-11d and a reserve tank 17 for string compressed air, and detecting signals therefrom are inputted to a controller 24.
