PURPOSE:To enable control of attitude of a car body in an optimum state even during raid turn by a method wherein, based on a car speed and a steering angle, a control time responding to lateral acceleration exerted on a car body is set, and control of roll of the car body is performed according to the control time. CONSTITUTION:Based on detecting signal of each of a steering angle sensor 30 and a car speed sensor 34, a control time responding to lateral acceleration exerted on a car body is set by a controller 16. During turn of a vehicle, control valves 27F and 27R for communication, intercoupling adjoining ones of main air spring chamber chambers 11a-11d of front right, front left, rear right, and rear left suspension units SFR, SFL, SRR, and SRL, respectively, are closed. The ones, located at the outside of turn, of control valves 22a-22d for the feed, through which reserve tanks 20F and 20R are respectively coupled to the main air spring chambers 11a-11d, are opened only during the set control time. Further, the ones, located at the inside of turn, of control valves 23a-23d for exhaust, by which the main air spring chambers 11a-11d are respectively opened to the open air, are opened. |
