<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an image of a satisfactory quality by constituting an image transfer medium conveying belt with a fabric-like sheet composed of a plurality of warps having a length equal to the longitudinal length of the conveying belt and a plurality of wefts which are substantially orthogonal to the warps and alternately knitted with the latter, and by making the number of the warps different from that of the wefts. CONSTITUTION:A conveying belt 8 is composed of a plurality of warps A having a length equal to the longitudinal length of the conveying belt 8 and a plurality of wefts B which are substantially orthogonal to the warps A and alternately knitted with the latter, making the number of the warps A greater than that of the wefts B. For the conveying belt 8, there is selected a material which has a less elongation and to which the torque of a drive roller 11 is transmitted with a high degree of efficiency. Further, for the conveying belt 8, there is used a mesh structure fabric-like belt in order to avoid large affection upon corona transfer current during image transfer process. With this arrangement it is possible to control the speed of the image transfer medium conveying belt with a high degree of accuracy, thereby it is possible to obtain an image of a high quality without no transfer irregularity in thus transferred microscopic image.</p> |
