PURPOSE:To obtain a compact image forming device which can execute a high speed processing, by forming an interface (CCI) circuit for communication control relaying the transmission/reception of information between the image forming device main body and an additional device, to an integrated circuit. CONSTITUTION:The CCI circuit 150 is constituted of a data bus buffer 250 for inputting and outputting the data D0-D7 to and from a CPU, an address decoder 251 inputting an address data and various control signals, an internal register 252, a baud rate generator generating a clock signal to determine a transmission/reception speed, and transmitting/receiving blocks 255-258 of each channel A-D, etc. Accordingly, the circuit 150 does not use a data bus in the inside, and by dividing all into input/output lines, a delay time is shortened remarkably, and a high speed processing can be executed. Also, by forming the circuit 150 by an integrated circuit and forming it integrally, it is incorporated into the same substrate as a processor in an image forming device, as an integrated circuit element of one chip, and can be constituted compactly. |
