PURPOSE:To enable a specimen spectrum from which interfering spectra are removed to be obtained by reading out the interfering spectra from parameters, such as the absorption peaks of interfering components and the like, and subtracting the interfering spectra from the specimen spectrum by an arithmetic unit. CONSTITUTION:A parameter memory 2 wherein the absorption peaks of interfering components, such as, for example, water vapor, carbon dioxide and the like, and data processing conditions, such as the value of the number of basic waves and the like, are stored is accessed. On the other hand, a measured specimen spectrum is stored in a specimen memory 4 as a File A. The resolution of the specimen spectrum and the like are checked and a corresponding water vapor spectrum is called from the memory 2 to an interfering spectrum memory 3 as a File B. A subtraction is executed in an arithmetic unit 6 so that the absorbancy of the water vapor spectrum becomes zero and a result is stored in a difference spectrum memory 8 as a File C. The same processing is conducted on carbon dioxide and a result is stored as a File D. Those Files are displayed on a display unit 10.
