PURPOSE:To attain cost-down by transmitting/receiving the information between a picture forming device main body and an adaptor by means of optical communication so as to simplify the connection for the information transmission/ reception thereby using a connector in common. CONSTITUTION:The transmission/reception of information between the picture forming device main body and plural adaptors are applied via a transmission/ reception incorporated connector 161 and an optical fiber cable 96 by means of optical communication. That is, a mail connector 160 is connected to both ends of the optical fibers 96a, 96b of the optical fiber cable 96 and the contacts 160a, 160b are formed projectingly to the tip. A light emitting diode 162 being an electrooptic conversion element is arranged to the bottom of one contact insertion hole 161b of the femail connector 161, a photo transistor 163 being an photoelectric conversion element is arranged to the bottom face of the other contact insertion hole 161c and a photodetector IC 166 is built in at the depth. Thus, the optical communication line for transmission and reception is connected by one-touch. |
