发明名称 GRINDING METHOD FOR NUMERICALLY CONTROLLED CYLINDRICAL GRINDER
摘要 PURPOSE:To machine the end face and the outer diameter accurately in a short time without stepping the corner by inclining the feeding shaft of grinding wheel against a line crossing perpendicularly with the feeding shaft of table, and controlling the feeding of table through an end face constant dimension device without returning the grinding wheel upon finish of outer diameter. CONSTITUTION:A feeding shaft of grinding wheel 5 is fixed with an angle theta with respect to the direction X crossing perpendicularly with the feeding shaft Z of a table, so as to form the grinding face of the grinding wheel 5 accurately. When grinding is started, the grinding wheel 5 advances with an angle theta from the starting position. Here, the outer diameter finish dimension is employed as a target value in the direction X, while a target point for leaving margin at the end face is employed in the direction Z. Automatic device 8 for setting constant outer diameter detects the position for starting of grinding of outer diameter, finish diameter and end of outer diameter finish dowel, and a motor 2 is controlled. Then end face finish is taken place, where end face finish is started without returning to the starting position, then the motor 1 is controlled to grind a work 6 upto the end face finish dimension with the outer diameter thereof being held as it is, and an automatic device 7 for setting constant dimension of end face detects the finish dimension of end face and the end of end face finish dowel.
