PURPOSE:To prevent the printing operation of a printer from confusing by providing both type outputting function for a computer and type outputting function as a facsimile receiver by one printer and preferentially operating the type outputting function as the receiver. CONSTITUTION:When a signal is input from a facsimile to a modem 6, a microprocessor 4 outputs a reception interrupt signal to a first interface controller 5, transmits a reception signal to a second interface controller 6, and transmits image data through a bus 10 to a picture image data controller 3. The picture image data is converted to dot data and transmitted to a printer 1. The printer 1 prints on the basis of the data. When the reception of the facsimile is finished, the controller 6 outputs a transmission end signal to the microprocessor 4. The microprocessor 4 receives it, sets the controller 5 to a reception mode, and sets the controller 6 in a reception stop mode. |
