PURPOSE:To aim at making power transmission appropriate by providing such an arrangement that a drive transmission gear provided on one of plural pairs of spool core support members is removably provided thereto with a gear on a transmission shaft for transmitting power to a gear provided on the other pair of the support members so that the power transmission between the support members is engaged and disengaged. CONSTITUTION:Plural pairs of spool core support members 2I, 2II, 2III... are movably provided on a guide base bed 1, and drive motors 5I, 5III... are attached on the inside of the right spool core support members 2I, 2III, respectively. The power of the drive motor 5I is transmitted to gears 6I, 9I through a transmission device 8I so as to rotate a spool core support fixture 3I. The gear 6I is provided meshingably thereto with a gear 10I on a transmission shaft 11 which is removably provided on the support member 2I, and may be meshed with a drive gear 6II on the adjacent support member 2II through a gear 10II. Accordingly, webs having a small width are wound by respective motors integrally provided to support members corresponding to the width of the webs. Meanwhile, when the width of the webs is large, the support members are driven by both motors due to the provision of the transmission shaft 11, thereby it is possible to increase the transmission power.
